What actually hosts your website (and why the brand names can wait)
Server dashboards are tools for people who run boxes. Here is the version that matters if you just need a site that stays up.
Every “free hosting panel” list throws the same product names at you. Those tools are real. They solve different jobs for people who rent a server and live in it. They are not a shopping list for a bakery that needs yourbrand.com to load on a phone.
Three jobs people mix up

None of those lab sentences should appear on your to-do list unless you hired someone to run servers.
What you should ask instead

- Where does email live? A real mailbox (

If a vendor’s first question is which control panel you want, they are starting from the wrong end.
