Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for using DevThunder — the public site, your account, the website builder, and hosting we run for you. Creating an account or using the service means you agree. Operator: DevThunder, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. Contact: hello@devthunder.com.
What you get
Marketing pages, member accounts, and a builder you can use to assemble and publish sites on our infrastructure (including free addresses on sites.devthunder.com). Your own domain is a separate hosting package when you ask for it. Prices on /pricing apply. The amount you confirm at checkout — or later in the billing portal — is what we charge.
Custom Build, Redesign, or retainer work is scoped in a written quote. That quote sits beside these terms; it does not replace them unless it says so in writing.
Accounts
- Give us a real email and keep your login to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including people you invite.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Your content
You own the copy and images you upload. You give us permission to host, process, and display that content so the product can work. You promise you have the rights to publish it, and that it is not illegal or someone else’s work without permission.
DevThunder owns the platform, software, branding, and documentation. Using the service does not transfer that to you.
Play fair
Do not use the service to:
- Break the law, spread malware, or infringe other people’s rights.
- Hammer the infrastructure (spam, scraping that hurts the service, trying to skip security).
- Publish content that is unlawful, harassing, or that we reasonably decide is abusive.
- Resell raw access to the platform unless we have said you can.
Plans and agency work
Self-serve Builder plans (Free, Premier, Pro) and the Care add-on are on the pricing page. Agency projects are quoted separately. Refunds: Refund Policy.
Uptime
We work to keep things up. We do not promise the internet will never hiccup. We may do maintenance, ship changes, or retire a feature — with notice when we can.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevThunder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Pennsylvania have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. Keeping the account after a change means you accept it. If something material changes, we will say so when we can.
