DevThunder designs, hosts, and looks after websites. If you visit our site, create an account, or ask us to host yours, we hold some information about you. This page says what that is, why we have it, and how to reach us.

We operate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. Questions: hello@devthunder.com.

What this covers

www.devthunder.com, member accounts, the website builder, hosting we run for you, and the contact and care-notes forms. It does not replace a written proposal on a custom project — that agreement sits beside these pages.

What we collect

  • Account — name, email, a hashed password, avatar, theme and language preferences, and sign-in records (sessions, passkeys, optional two-factor).
  • Sign in with Google or GitHub — if you choose that path, we receive the profile fields those services share (usually email, name, and photo) and store a linked identity.
  • Sites and content — pages, media, and form submissions you create or receive through the builder or our contact forms.
  • Usage and diagnostics — first-party analytics, security logs, and error reports that may include IP address, browser, and the page you were on.
  • Payments — when you subscribe, our payment processor handles the card. We store customer and subscription identifiers so billing keeps working. We never store full card numbers.

How we use it

  • Run the product: accounts, publishing, hosting, support.
  • Email you about your account, security, and the updates you asked for.
  • Keep spam and abuse off the forms and the service.
  • Follow the law and our Terms of Service.

Who we share with

We use specialized companies to help us run the shop — hosting, email delivery, media storage, bot protection, error monitoring, and card payments. They only get what they need to do that job. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

Want the current list of those processors? Email hello@devthunder.com and we will send it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools so you stay signed in, keep your theme, and so public forms are not buried in bots. Details: Cookie Policy.

How long we keep it

Account and site data stay while the account is active, then for a reasonable stretch afterward for backups, invoices, and abuse prevention. Ask us to delete your account and we will, unless we have to keep a record (for example a paid invoice).

Your choices

  • Update profile and security settings in your account.
  • Disconnect Google or GitHub from Settings when that option is there.
  • Email us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, subject to the usual legal exceptions.

Children

The service is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If you are outside the United States

We run from the U.S. Using the service means your information may be processed here.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that actually matters, we will update the date at the top and, when we can, give you a heads-up.
